Helix BioReactor Speeds Up Algae Growth at an Incredible Rate
Origin Oil has developed technology which grossly increases the growth rate of algae.
Origin oil is a leading developer of technology supporting algae to energy conversion. Its Helix BioReacter is able to access growth layers the sun cannot. In a natural pond, the sun illuminates one layer of algae growth, about an inch below the surcface.
The Helix BioReactor is equipped with tools which allow it to access multiple layers. The BioReactor has a rotating vertical shaft with low energy lights, arranged in a helix (spiral) pattern, attached to it. Each light is engineered to emit a specific light wave and frequency; this allows for optimal growth.
The Helix BioReactor also has a nutrient delivery system. This system delivers Quantum Fractured nutrients, including carbon dioxide, to the algae culture.
Origin Oil claims algae in this growth environment can reproduce exponentially. According to the company, an entire colony can be doubled in a few hours.
