Western Wind Energy Corp. (CNDV: WND.V) took major steps last week to becoming an important small cap pure-play wind energy company:

On Friday it announced important validation from major financial institutions with the arrangement of $275 million in financing to build the 120 megawatt (MW) Windstar wind farm in Tehachapi, California. (Currency in Canadian dollars. Cdn$1 = U.S. $0.987 December 20 8 a.m. EST)
