Sanyo and Apollo Energy recently unveiled what is being touted as the largest commercially-funded rooftop solar panel installation in Australia. The 200-kilowatt solar system was recently installed on the rooftop of the Johnson & Johnson Medical headquarters in Sydney, Australia.

Solar Energy Initiatives, Inc. (SNRY), executing on its corporate mission to “Renew The Nation” via economic development through the sale and installation of solar thermal, photovoltaic and other solar technologies, announced an update of plans for its wholly owned subsidiary, Solar Park Initiatives, Inc. (SPI).

Imagine:  sipping a martini while listening to the waves hitting the beach. 

Imagine:  picking raspberries from the garden watching deer nibbling at nearby trees. 

Imagine:  the environmentally conscious socialite couple and their new cottage at the Hamptons. 

Last fall, billionaire Warren Buffet’s company, Berkshire Hathaway, bought 10% of a Chinese company called Build Your Dreams, or BYD, for $230 million. BYD makes a bunch of things; cell phone batteries, mobile phone hand-sets, cheap computers and cars. Not just any cars, though. BYD makes electric cars.
