Solar module manufacturer Semprius, Inc. has achieved 33.9 percent efficiency for its latest high concentration photovoltaic (HCPV) solar modules the company said Tuesday.

As part of the American Recovery and Investment Act, Semprius, Inc., has been awarded $500,000 for the development of solar-energy technology. The Durham-based semiconductor technology company made the announcement earlier this week.
