The Ninth Annual Illinois Renewable Energy & Sustainable Lifestyle Fair was held over the weekend at the Ogle County Fairgrounds in Oregon, Illinois. Now in its ninth year, the fair is the largest of its kind in the state and the longest running.

20 collegiate teams from all over the world will compete in the U.S. Department of Energy’s 2011 Solar Decathlon. The teams design, build and operate energy-efficient, solar-powered homes that are attractive and affordable.
