To kick off the 2010 Geothermal Energy Expo in Sacramento, California, the Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) released data which shows that new clean geothermal power plants poised to come online will create thousands of jobs in 2011.

The Geothermal Energy Association (GEA) has released figures estimating that the geothermal industry could be worth up to $22.5 billion over the next 30 years in the US state of Nevada.

Enhanced geothermal energy is cheaper and more reliable than virtually all other technologies according to a recent report by Credit Suisse on comparative energy costs.
