Portland General Electric Company (NYSE: POR) released a statement updating the progress being made on its emissions plan for the Boardman Power Plant. The company implemented its 2020 plan last year to reduce the carbon emitted by its 630 MW coal-fired plant located in Boardman, Oregon. As part of the plan, PGE has agreed to cease using coal at Boardman entirely by 2020.
