ARPA-E
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) announced plans to invest up to $366 million to establish and operate three new Energy Innovation Hubs focused on accelerating research and development in three key energy areas.
The Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E), a recently formed branch of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is dispensing $151 million to thirty-seven projects that could very well change the way energy is used and produced in the United States.
