Part I provided a brief explanation of carbon credit trading, but now the question is whether or not such a market is effective in stemming global warming. The answer is not as straight forward as one might think.

With the major global influx of government spending on renewable resources and environmentally friendly technologies, the renewable sector is making a quicker recovery than other markets. The carbon trading markets in particular, have shown impressive growth -- most notably in developing countries.
