Thanks in large part to San Francisco taxi driver, Paul Gillespie, as of March of this year 55% of the city's taxi fleet is either hybrid or powered by natural gas.
Gillespie joined the then newly formed San Francisco Taxi Commission, 13 years ago. The only driver on the board, his first recommendation was to add clean taxis to the Board's agenda.

Green is the color of choice at the upcoming China International Green Vehicle and Design Exhibition, or more commonly called the Green Vehicle Expo 2010 (GVO).
The eco-friendly exhibition begins this week at the Shanghai Exhibition Center (SEC) in China.
