CPH:VWS

Vestas Wind Systems (CPH:VWS), the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer, has caused a stir throughout the renewable energy world with its announcement of massive second-quarter losses.

The Canadian province of Ontario is fast becoming a vanguard for renewable energy.

Thanks to a new and incredibly generous set of feed-in tariffs, as well as the fact the province sits right across the border from one of the world's biggest clean energy markets, many renewable energy companies are putting up shop in Ontario.

Last year, the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer, Vestas Wind Systems (CPH:VWS), missed its full year revenue targets by about 500 million euro and watched its shares slide.

Vestas Wind Systems (Public, CPH:VWS) has received new orders for wind turbines from a large, unidentified, Chinese Independent Power Producer (IPP).
