Vestas Wind Systems (CPH:VWS), the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer, has caused a stir throughout the renewable energy world with its announcement of massive second-quarter losses.

Energy giant, Terra-Gen Power (LLC) has secured US$1.2 Billion in financing for four major wind projects in California, totaling 570 MW in capacity.
