Stocks were up nearly two percent Tuesday after Argan, Inc (NYSE AMEX: AGX) announced that its subsidiary Gemma Power Systems (GPS) had been awarded a contract to build a biomass-fired power plant for East Texas Electric Cooperative Inc.
