As part of a US$773 million settlement, federally held Motors Liquidation Co.(Other OTC: MTLQQ.PK), or Old GM, will fund a US$11.7 million cleanup of its former Delaware factory in preparations

In his 2003 State of the Union address, George Bush said “that the first car driven by a child born today could be powered by hydrogen, and pollution-free.” Electric vehicle advocate Paul Scott replied that if battery electric technology had been fully exploited for transportation, the first car driven by a child born during the Civil war would have been powered by a battery.

The electric car, or EV as it is commonly referred to, is taking the automotive world by storm.  As a result, the technology is changing on a daily basis.  Therefore, Plug-in America has created a master list which tracks the development of highway-capable electric cars and trucks on a monthly basis.

It seems as though every week is marked by a large renewable energy announcement from a government; this week was no different.
