Report Shows Ways to Improve and Regulate Fuel Economy of Heavy-Duty Trucks

Currently, there are no fuel economy regulations for medium- and heavy-duty trucks in the United States, however, that is expected to change in the very near future.

According to a new report by the National Research Council, semi-trucks, work trucks, transit buses, and other large trucks consume 29% of the fuel used in the U.S.
