In just a couple of days a debate will begin amongst the "most discerning" vehicle consumers as to which alternative drive trains will be suitable to drive the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars of the future.

Opel, the ailing European unit of General Motors, is considering launching an electric car designed for city use.
"We are thinking about a small electric vehicle," Nick Reilly the president of General Motors Europe told Germany's Bild am Sonntag newspaper.
