The American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's 2010 State Energy Efficiency Scorecard shows the United States took major strides in energy efficiency this year, despite failing to pass new energy policy.

BP has announced it will use all of the net revenues it earns from selling oil it skims from the ocean's surface or collects from the siphon placed on the busted pipe at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico towards a wildlife fund.

Well the news coming from the Gulf of Mexico continues to become more alarming; the images more shocking; and the calls for a solution increasing to a fever pitch. 

Today oil reached the beaches of Pensacola, Florida, and scientists estimate it could flow all the way up the coast to North Carolina before pooling out into the middle of the Atlantic ocean.

A new report from the Geothermal Energy Association shows that over the last year geothermal projects under development in the United States have grown 26%.
