On the whole, renewable energy technologies tend to require large swaths of land.  A new report from The Nature Conservancy acknowledges this fact, and offers some solutions to mitigate the  "clean energy sprawl."

 

A new Chinese report has been published which states that China should set targets to limit its carbon emissions so they peak by 2030.

 

The report says with the right policies, emissions could slow by 2020 and then peak by 2030.  China recently passed the United States as the world's largest greenhouse gas emitter.
