The moment has finally come.
The massive oil slick sitting off the coast of Louisiana in the Gulf of Mexico has begun to wash up on the shores of the Mississippi Delta and marshlands.

Increased winds from the south are pushing the Gulf of Mexico oil slick towards America's southeast coast; many fear the oil will begin to vigorously saturate the coastline over the next several days.
