Mikhail Gorbachev urged world leaders and oil industry leaders to invest in solar energy at the NRPA International Petrochemical Conference.

 

The Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) will install cutting-edge solar power arrays at six schools in Florida.

 

When complete, the solar power arrays, called the "Next Generation Solar Education Stations," will provide five kilowatts of solar electricity and save each school around $800 in electricity costs per year.
