The Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) will install cutting-edge solar power arrays at six schools in Florida.
When complete, the solar power arrays, called the "Next Generation Solar Education Stations," will provide five kilowatts of solar electricity and save each school around $800 in electricity costs per year.
Six years ago, the Cape Wind project, America's first offshore wind farm was designed. Today, the Cape Wind project continues to move toward production at a snail's pace.
