EnergyBoom Wind Subindex (E•B Wind)

The EnergyBoom Wind Subindex (E•B Wind) is designed to be representative of companies that are focused on developing and/or operating commercial wind power projects and/or providing the technology, products or services for commercial wind power projects.

The subindex is calculated in U.S. dollars. Each company is weighted by its market capitalization and no company in the subindex has weighting greater than 25 percent.

Any company in the subindex that is acquired or delisted is removed from the Index at the time the event becomes effective and will not be replaced. If a stock is considered to be illiquid, has filed for bankruptcy, or has been delisted, it will be deleted from the subindex immediately and will not be replaced.

A company that completes an initial public offering (IPO) and that meets the criteria for inclusion will be added to the subindex.

Companies selected for the subindex should have a market capitalization greater than $50 million, although companies with smaller market capitalizations can be considered if EnergyBoom believes their inclusion would enhance the index’s objective to be representative of companies active in the sector.

The companies trade on exchanges in the U.S., Europe, Australia or Canada, although share price data used for subindex calculations may, in some cases, be taken from U.S. Pink Sheets.

The base date for the EnergyBoom Wind Subindex is October 1, 2010 and the base level is 100. The list and weightings have been updated as of February 29, 2012.
