Part III of Q & A with Russ McMeekin of SCI: "The Future & Artificial Intelligence"

In this third part of my three-part Q&A with SCI's CEO Russ McMeekin, he talks about the future and artificial intelligence.
ROBERT GLUCK: On your website under "Products" is this statement:
"At the core of the SCIwatch platform is a pattern recognition technology that distinguishes the solution in the energy management market. Because system degradation can be extremely hard to detect--especially if the tools being used are not sensitive enough to pick up the slightest of anomalies that impact energy efficiencies--SCIwatch employs neural networks, a commercially proven form of artificial intelligence."
What do you see in the future for artificial intelligence in terms of energy efficiency?
RUSS MCMEEKIN: The ability to predict performance and track changes in efficiency is the future of sustainable energy efficiency.
RG: SCI's SCIwatch Automated Continuous Commissioning (ACC) solution is the industry's first software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform to help cut annual energy spending up to 25 percent by comparing predicted energy and system efficiencies against real-time operation. Please give us a few more details about the ACC and tell us why this solution works.
RM: Simply, the key word in this phrase is "automated"... no human is required.
RG: What else would you like to add to your other comment about artificial intelligence in terms of energy efficiency?
RM: Like in all other industries that AI is applied to, this will be a continuous evolution.
RG: What do you see in SCI's future? Will there be new products from SCI?
RM There will be many new innovations from SCI. For competitive reasons I would prefer not to comment at this time.
RG: How do you see the future of energy efficiency?
RM: As we saw in the 90s with energy producers, energy consumers will embark on a continuous improvement journey which will benefit us.
