New Report States Hydrogen Vehicles Are the Green Cars of the Future

The National Hydrogen Association has released a new report, which shows the future of the automobile will be dominated by hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles.
The report, "Energy Evolution: An Analysis of Alternative Vehicles and Fuels to 2100," states that moving away from fossil fueled vehicles to alternative energy vehicles and eventually to hydrogen fuel cells is the only way to make a significant impact on climate change. The report asserts a move to hydrogen cars would cut U.S. greenhouse gas emissions by 80%, eliminate nearly all controllable air pollution, and make the U.S. more energy independent by 2100.
The report analyzed the fifteen most promising energy alternatives. As President of the National Hydrogen Association, Jeff Serfass said, "quite honestly, the results surprised even us, but the data speak for themselves."
