Happy 18th Birthday, Justin: Teen Pop Star Receives Fisker Karma from Usher [Video]

Teen sensation Justin Bieber received a surpise birthday gift from his manager on the Ellen Degeneres show today.  In an effort to not only celebrate Bieber's 18th birthday, but also honour his hard work and humility, manager Scooter Braun and Usher, gifted the pop star with a brand new Fisker Karma.

Here's what Scooter had to say to Justin:

You work really really hard. I always yell at you, 'Don't get anything flashy!' You know, we're not about that. Be humble, be humble. And I kind of broke my own rule. We wanted to make sure since you love cars, that when you're on the road you are always environmentally friendly. And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out on the road. I think you know where I'm going, and you're kind of freaking out right now. So, Justin...a very hard to get car, that's a Fisker Karma.

An astonished Bieber, asked if this is "an all-electric car;" after being told it's an electric car, he exclaimed, "this is amazing."  Bieber now joins a select club of Karma owners, including Leonardo DiCaprio.

For Fisker, this positive publicity couldn't come at a more critical time.  Over the past several months, the company has dealt with a dearth of issues including delayed production, recalls, and financial insecurity.

Now, if Bieber's 17 million plus followers on Twitter purchased the luxury plug-in hybrid vehicle, the executives at Fisker Automotive would surely be smiling.
