Jason Karpf is a PR/marketing consultant and freelance writer with a longtime interest in renewable energy and energy policy. He previously served as a communications specialist for Capstone Turbine Corporation, manufacturer of low-emission microturbine power generators that can run on biogas.
Jason has been interviewed and quoted by media across North America including MSNBC, E! Entertainment, Associated Press, The Dallas Morning News, and The Christian Science Monitor. He has written for numerous publications including Military History, AdWeek, and BtoB, and is the author of Anatomy of a Massacre, a true-crime book detailing one of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history. A history and trivia aficionado, Jason was a four-time champion on the TV game show "Jeopardy!"
Jason holds a B.S. in Business/Marketing from the University of Phoenix, an A.A. with Business emphasis from Los Angeles Pierce College, and certification in Composing and Arranging from the Grove School of Music. He lives with his wife and three children in Southern California.
