Jeff Swofford is a researcher for an energy efficiency organization in Portland, Oregon. He is currently on haitus from his EnergyBoom contributions, but you may see him floating around. His research interests include renewable energy implementation, energy efficiency, energy policy, and carbon mitigation. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental studies from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science degree in environmental science from Texas Christian University. His current research focuses on energy efficiency policy programs, both voluntary and mandatory. Jeff's past research focused on the social barriers of renewable energy implementation and their influence on decision making and energy policy.
