Mark Starr is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2004, he was wounded in combat and received a Purple Heart. Currently, Mr. Starr is a Program Director for the Vet Voice Foundation, a non-profit, non-partisan organization founded by Vote Vets.org Chairman Jon Soltz in 2009.

The organization seeks to promote the voices of America’s veterans in current policy and advocacy issues namely conservation and renewable energy. Mr. Starr resides in Los Angeles, California.
